Community Re-entry

Eventually, a moderate to severe TBI patient will be ready for transitional care, or community re-entry. Community re-entry programs help the patient prepare to return to independent living and, if possible, to work or school.

The goal of community re-entry treatment is to develop higher-level skills and functions such as social interaction skills, goal setting, money management skills, and safety in the community. Some programs offer vocational training as well.
